Every safe behavior begins with respect!
– Respect yourself. Take care of yourself. Protect yourself.
– Respect those close to you: your relatives and friends – people who expect to see you again and whom you also want to see again. Do not Do not put their future with you at risk.
– Respect others. Think about how your actions affect the people around you. Behave as you would like others to behave towards you. Make things easier for others whenever you can. You will feel better about yourself, you will make others feel better, and this attitude is likely to be passed on.
In a world full of challenges and stressful situations, where the number and variety of vehicles are constantly increasing, drivers, motorcyclists, users of micromobility devices, and pedestrians are all called upon to coexist safely and harmoniously. Road safety is a shared responsibility — it concerns all of us collectively and each of us individually. Let us all contribute!
Everyone has an equal right to safe mobility. Look out for vulnerable road users. Help them complete their journeys more easily and safely. Keep pedestrian crossings, ramps, and pavement corners clear. Maintain a safe distance when overtaking cyclists.
Treat others with courtesy. Give way when appropriate, nod “Thank you” to those who help you, control frustration caused by others’ mistakes, and help de-escalate tense situations.
Everyone faces difficulties. There is already enough stress in our lives. Let us not create more where we have the power to prevent it.
MAKE EVERY JOURNEY SAFE — FOR YOU AND FOR EVERYONE AROUND YOU!
