Μoving the City, Responsibly
Moving the City, Responsibly is Wolt Greece’s largest responsible mobility initiative to date, developed in partnership with the Road Safety Institute “Panos Mylonas”, under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, and with the support of the FIA.
Built on research, education and collaboration, the initiative brings together courier partners, local businesses, consumers and institutional stakeholders around a shared goal: making everyday mobility in our cities safer for everyone.
Our approach
The initiative is built around three interconnected pillars:
1. Research
The initiative began with a comprehensive research programme conducted in partnership with the Road Safety Institute “Panos Mylonas”. The research combined qualitative and quantitative methodologies and aimed to better understand the realities, behaviours and risk factors that shape road safety within the delivery ecosystem.
- A quantitative survey involving 980 delivery partners.
- Focus groups with delivery partners.
- Focus groups with merchants.
- Focus groups with members of the public.
The findings form the foundation of all subsequent activities and interventions.
2. Education
The second phase of the initiative transforms the research findings into practical education and prevention actions..

Dedicated Microsite for the general public
A central hub for learning, training and public awareness, designed for all road users. Its goal is to reinforce the understanding that road safety is a shared responsibility and concerns everyone who participates in everyday urban mobility.

Specialised training on incident management and effective support for courier partners. - Delivery Fleet Companies & Courier Associations
Delivered through a train-the-trainer approach. Each organisation will appoint a Road Safety Ambassador who will act as a local point of reference and transfer knowledge to their members or fleet.

Enhanced Support Processes
A new incident reporting and response mechanism, supported by specially trained teams to ensure faster and more effective assistance.
3. Public Awareness
Digital Campaign & Influencer Engagement
A digital awareness campaign featuring 10+ purpose-built videos with practical road safety tips and strong calls to action, amplified through influencers and social media to encourage safer everyday behaviour.
